tobecited vs Peec AI
Peec AI starts at $95 a month, and its Starter plan is capped at three models — a fourth is an add-on of $35 to $165. tobecited checks all 4 assistants on every plan, free one included, for $19. Peec tracks 50 buyer questions to our 10, and that gap is real.
Where these numbers come from
Peec no longer prints prices on its own pricing page — only plan names — so every Peec figure below is reported by 2026 reviews of the product and was reconciled on August 28, 2026. Ours are printed from the plan catalogue this site runs on. Read the Peec column as reported, not quoted, and confirm it inside their trial before you buy.
| Compared on | tobecited Pro — $19/mo | Peec AI Starter — $95/mo |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $19 (€17) | $95 (€85) |
| Models included at that price | All 4: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity | Any three models you pick — Starter stops at three |
| Adding a fourth model | Not a purchase — the panel is fixed and complete | Add-on, $35–165 per model per month |
| Buyer questions per run | 10 | 50ahead of us |
| Sites monitored on the entry plan | 1 on Pro, 5 on Max ($99) | 1 on Starter, 2 on Pro ($245), 5 on Advanced ($495) |
| Free check without a card | Yes — 3 questions × 4 assistants = 12 answers, and it does not expire | 7-day trial, no card. No permanent free tier |
| Ready-to-publish fixes | Yes — llms.txt, schema markup, titles, FAQ blocks | No — monitoring only |
| Prices published on the vendor’s own page | Yes — $19/€17 and $99/€89 | No — plan names only |
| Models at the top of the range | 4 — the whole panel, on every plan | Up to 11 models on Enterprise, price on requestahead of us |

The three-model ceiling
Peec Starter at $95 a month lets you pick three models. Not three of ours plus the rest — three in total, chosen from their list. Each model beyond the third is an add-on priced between $35 and $165 a month depending on which one it is.
Whichever three you pick, one of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity is missing. A buyer who asks the one you dropped gets an answer you never see, and that does not surface as a low score. It surfaces as no data at all, which is the harder kind of gap to notice.
Our panel is not a menu. Every plan runs all 4, the free check included, and the cost of the fourth model is already inside the $19.
What $95 buys that $19 does not
Peec Starter tracks 50 buyer questions to our 10. On raw question volume, $95 buys five times what $19 buys, and further up the range Pro tracks 150 and Advanced 350.
If you have already decided which three assistants matter to your market and you need depth on one brand, that is a coherent purchase and this page is not going to argue you out of it.
The opposite case is ours: you do not yet know which assistant is failing you. 10 questions across 4 assistants and four weekly runs is 160 answers a month — enough to see which assistant names a competitor instead of you, which is the question most people arrive with.
Prices you cannot read on the vendor’s page
As of August 28, 2026, the Peec pricing page shows plan names without numbers. The $95 / $245 / $495 figures in the table come from 2026 reviews of the product, and the euro pair (€85 / €205 / €425) comes from the same sources.
We say this out loud because a comparison table is worth exactly its sourcing. Ours are exact because they are generated from the file that bills you. Theirs are reported, and the honest instruction is to verify them in the 7-day trial before signing anything.
If Peec publishes numbers again and they differ from these, the numbers here are the ones that are wrong. Write to us and we will correct the page with a new date on it.
Where Peec is ahead
Question volume, plainly. 50 on Starter, 150 on Pro, 350 on Advanced, against 10 on both of our paid plans. We add depth by adding sites, not by adding questions, so if your problem is one brand with a hundred distinct buying questions, Peec answers it and we do not.
Model count at the top end as well: Enterprise reaches up to 11 models on request. Our panel is four and is deliberately fixed, because comparable numbers across runs matter more to us than a longer list — but four is four, and eleven is more than four.
And their 7-day trial runs without a card, which is a fair way to check every number on this page for yourself.

No card. Four assistants. The report is yours whether you buy anything or not.
What this comparison is not
- This is not a Peec price quote. Their pricing page shows no numbers; every figure in the Peec column is reported by 2026 reviews and reconciled on August 28, 2026.
- This is not a claim that four assistants beat fifty questions. It is a claim that they are two different purchases, and the table shows which one you are making.
- We do not promise placement in any AI answer, and no tool in this category can.
- Peec Enterprise is out of scope here. It is quoted per customer and we have no figure worth publishing.
Questions buyers ask before switching
- How much does Peec AI cost?
- $95 a month for Starter, $245 for Pro and $495 for Advanced — €85, €205 and €425 in euros. Peec no longer prints these on its pricing page; the figures come from 2026 reviews and were reconciled on August 28, 2026.
- How many AI models does Peec Starter cover?
- Three, chosen by you, and that is a hard ceiling on the plan. Each model beyond three is an add-on of $35 to $165 a month. tobecited runs ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity on every plan, with nothing to add.
- Does Peec AI have a free plan?
- There is a 7-day trial that does not ask for a card, but no permanent free tier. The tobecited free check does not expire: 3 questions across 4 assistants, 12 answers, no card.
- Peec tracks 50 questions and tobecited tracks 10. Does that matter?
- It matters when your category has many distinct buying questions. 10 questions across 4 assistants on four weekly runs is 160 answers a month, which is enough to see a trend on one site. Fifty questions is enough to map a category. Buy the one that matches the job in front of you.
- Why does this page quote Peec prices that Peec does not publish?
- Because the alternative is a table with holes in it. Every Peec figure here is marked as reported, dated August 28, 2026, and taken from 2026 reviews of the product rather than from us.
- What does tobecited include that Peec Starter does not?
- A fourth assistant at no extra cost, downloadable fixes (llms.txt, schema markup, titles, FAQ blocks), a free check that needs no card and does not expire, and named competitor tracking — 3 competitors on Pro and 5 on Max.
